Sheffield Wednesday boss Brian Laws is interested in signing Everton striker Victor Anichebe.
BBC Radio Sheffield says the 21-year-old Nigeria international is believed to be one of a number of targets on Laws's wanted list.
The Owls are also planning more talks with the West Ham forward Freddie Sears when the player returns from holiday.
