Sheffield Wednesday have appointed Danny Rohl as their new boss with immediate effect.
The former Germany, Bayern Munich and Southampton assistant manager will be taking over from Xisco Munoz.
The Spaniard, who formerly coached at Watford, lost his post after a start of the season that saw Wednesday claim 2 points from ten Championship games.
Rohl is only 34 and is taking on his maiden job as a head coach, which will bring a great deal of pressure.
However, he has worked alongside elite talent as an assistant to Hansi Flick and Ralph Hassenhuttl.
Rohl was most recently with the German national team, where Flick and he both lost their jobs following a run of miserable results.
