Sheffield United hope to close a permanent deal for on-loan Blackburn Rovers goalkeeper Mark Bunn.
The Mirror says the Blades want to sign Bunn permanently after Paddy Kenny lost his appeal against his nine-month drugs ban.
The FA's appeal board chucked out Kenny's case during a four-and-a-half hour hearing at Wembley yesterday, claiming his ban was justified.
Rovers boss Sam Allardyce is prepared to sell his third-choice goalkeeper and will demand £2million for him.
