Sheffield Utd boss Wilder pleased to defeat FA Cup opponents Plymouth

Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder was happy with their 2-1 defeat of FA Cup opponents Plymouth Argyle.

The Blades, bottom of the Premier League, went ahead when Chris Basham headed in from Billy Sharp's cross.

Sharp added a second, scoring after going around goalkeeper Michael Cooper.

Panutche Camara, who missed a good chance in the first half, pulled one back with a low strike, but the Blades held on to move into the fifth round.

Wilder said afterwards, "You have to put it into perspective against two League One sides, but it's job done and no downside to winning games.

"The competition that we play our domestic football in is an incredibly tough one and the challenges we face right the way through and even this next week.

"Any opportunity to win a game of football you will take and we have done that over those opportunities.

"A home draw in the fifth round is something to look forward to.

"We had a lot of the ball today, our play at times was good, understanding the opposition but we still had to move the ball around, which we did and there's no downside in players playing well and gaining wins.

"I am one of those that if it's a friendly, behind closed doors, or a PL game, I want it done right, and it has opened up today and we have taken that."
