Sheffield United boss Kevin Blackwell has confirmed his interest in Manchester City striker Ched Evans.
Blackwell told BBC Radio Sheffield: "We're still monitoring the situation. Manchester City know we're interested and our bid is on the table.
"City have only just returned for pre-season and we are now waiting for them to decide what happens next."
