Shakhtar Donetsk sporting director Carlo Nicolini admits major Premier League interest is arriving for Georgiy Sudakov.

Manchester City and Manchester United have been linked with the Ukraine international, who has stated an offer from Napoli was recently turned down.

Nicolini told Radio Marte Stereo: "I read Sudakov's statements which reports what the club's CEO had said, that is of an offer from Napoli which was then rejected. The Azzurri are interested, without a doubt, but they are not the only ones: many teams are following the player, especially the English ones, but at the moment there have been no other offers."

The Italian manager then focused on Sudakov's technical qualities: "He can cover all the roles in midfield. He is not a playmaker but he can do it with a technical midfield.

"He can play behind the striker: his specialty is the through pass. Shakhtar's game highlights his characteristics: he obviously wants to choose a team that can highlight his qualities."
