Shakhtar Donetsk winger Tete passes Leicester medical

Shakhtar Donetsk winger Tete has passed his Leicester City medical.

The winger looks set to become City's second signing of the window following the capture of full-back Victor Kristiansen from FC Copenhagen earlier this month. The defender made his debut as a second half substitute in the FA Cup win over Walsall on Saturday.

Tete flew into England Saturday morning in order to complete his medical and finalise his move to the club. He shared updates of him flying to England on his Instagram account.

TalkSPORT's Alex Crook reports the Brazilian has now passed his medical, meaning he has taken a major step towards becoming a City player. The journalist adds that he will be signed 'shortly'.
