Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Taras Stepanenko says they must keep hold of coach Paulo Fonseca.
The Portuguese features high on Everton's shortlist of managerial names to succeed Sam Allardyce at the end of this season.
However, Stepanenko insists they must do all they can to convince Fonseca to stay.
He explained to Football Transfer: "I like stability. You always get used to a person, his ideas get into you. Of course, I would like Paulo to stay. I am very impressed by this coach: young, ambitious, with principles of a good and correct life. I like his behavior in training and in life, as he sees football. No wonder they are interested in him across Europe.
"But the choice is his. Each person has their own dream, and not everyone wants to stay in one place and in one championship for a long time. I'm sure the club will do everything possible to keep him, but as Paulo decides, only he knows."
