Sevilla midfielder Fernando admits they struggled in defeat at Champions League opponents Arsenal.

Fernando concedes the Gunners were simply too strong.

He said, "It was a difficult game. For any team that comes, it is very complicated, difficult, they press high, we can't get out from behind. Very complicated.

"It was a very difficult, very complicated game. We had many tired players and we had to change. The game didn't go the way we wanted, but we tried, we competed and now we're going to think about it on Sunday".

Sevilla will host Betis at the Sánchez-Pizjuán in four days.

He added: "It is an important game for us, for the fans and we hope to have a great game."
