Sevilla coach Sanchez Flores: We lacked control in Atletico Madrid defeat

Sevilla coach Quique Sanchez Flores felt they lost control for defeat to Atletico Madrid.

Marcos Llorente scored for Atletico's 1-0 win.

Sanchez Flores said afterwards: "Patience and order. When we talk about order it is not just defensive. Also to attack, to attack the spaces, put in the centres, circulate the ball. There was a lack of order.

"We have had the idea, we have transmitted it to the kids but sometimes it is difficult for them; the noise of the game, the need for a goal... There have been situations where decisions have been made individually and I don't particularly like that, but I think that in the second half, from minute 10 onwards we have improved a lot. There was already a very good team before the expulsion in the opposite field.

"At the beginning it was difficult for us, we were disorganised in defence in the first half and we defended very far back, and when that happens it is very difficult to get out. Even though we have good players with footing, Rakitic, Suso, and Óliver, in the situations where they found the ball they were very complicated, with superiority on their part and they lost it very quickly.

"That hasn't allowed us to go on the attack like we wanted."
