Sevilla coach Sanchez Flores left delighted with victory at Rayo

Sevilla coach Quique Sanchez Flores was left delighted with their 2-1 win at Rayo Vallecano on Monday night.

Youssef En-Nesyri struck twice for the win.

Sanchez Flores later said: "I am very happy with the result, I have never come to Vallecas without suffering, they press and have speed. They have had almost all the moments of dominance, but we have been comfortable running into space and we knew that in the open field we would have options.

"We did the match we had to, a lot of desire, honor and attention.

"En-Nesyri he has found himself well with Isaac, two forwards with goals; I told Ocampos that he was going to play there and he told me no problems; and three new boys who have to get to know each other and they have to give it to us. We are happy with the result because it changes their faces.

"They are two guys who look forward and we had to get them up to speed. We had to overcome the pressure of Rayo's push, but we came out well, with quick attacks that I like and give a certain advantage.

"They have two wonderful things, in addition to being good forwards, they work a lot for the team and I love that, they make sacrifices and with the forwards sometimes you have to insist on it and they do it."

On the vulgar incident involving Ocampos and a Rayo fan, the coach added: "You have to ask yourself what happens to people's minds, whether they are young or old. What is happening, where is the security, who do we let through? I am very concerned that there are diverse minds in football stadiums. I have always conceived of football as something wild but wonderful. We hope it doesn't happen again."
