Sevilla coach Jose Luis Mendilibar concedes his squad needs to be trimmed.

Mendilibar admits he expects more squad changes before the market shuts.

He said, "In football it is difficult to know who is going to stay until August 31. There are some who seem to be able to stay but don't, others who leave because of an offer. As long as the closing of the market is not combined with the start of the campaign, we are going to see what can happen.

"There is nowhere to take this, but we have to put up with it. Until September 1, anything can happen.

"I am satisfied with what I have now and from September 1 you can ask me if I am happy with the squad I have. We have an excess of players, but we already knew that."
