Sevilla attacker Oliver Torres admits Monchi, Isco 'tension' amid exit claims

Sevilla attacker Oliver Torres concedes there has been "tension" between Isco and sporting director Monchi.

It's been suggested Isco and Monchi have agreed he should leave in January.

Torres told Onda Cero: "I don't know. I didn't see anything. That which came out was in front of the group, and I don't know if it was because the least I do is go ask a teammate, and even less Monchi.

"In football the tension is given, it can happen to me today with a teammate or the coach. It's part of football and it has to stay there, and that all parties are well."

Asked if Isco had told the locker room that he wants to leave, Torres also said: "I think that you think that the player arrives and says 'guys, get together and I'm going to talk'. No. Each player has a situation, he lives it from within, we are not one to ask.

"Players come and go naturally. There are rumours. Sometimes they put you outside, other times inside. You never know. Isco is our teammate and so far he has the same common goal as us, which is to put Sevilla where it deserves."
