West Bromwich Albion have announced the summer departures of out-of-contract players Stephane Sessegnon and Victor Anichebe.

Benin international Sessegnon moved to The Hawthorns from Sunderland in 2013 and scored eight goals in 92 appearances for the Baggies.

Meanwhile, Nigerian striker Anichebe scored nine times in 63 appearances after arriving in the West Midlands from Everton in the same summer.

Baggies boss Tony Pulis told the club's official website: "The two lads worked really hard for me and were as good as gold.

"Everybody at the Club wishes them all the best in their future careers."
