Everton senior scout Jamie Hoyland has left his role at the club with immediate effect.
Hoyland, who was a European scout, was working on Under-23 recruitment at the Toffees since signing in 2016.
He eventually got the job of first-team scout as part of a club restructuring process.
However, he has since gone onto social platform LinkedIn to confirm his departure.
Hoyland wrote: "What an honor & a pleasure it has been to represent Everton Football Club over the last seven years.
"To have been the Lead scout in the recruitment & signing of Dominic Calvert-Lewin & Jarred Branthwaite has been been a great source of professional & personal pride for me.
"I look forward to new challenges with the same excitement & work ethic that I have always given as the passion is still burning for the game I love."
