Seattle Sounders are set to attract their biggest crowd to a MLS match this weekend.
The Sounders have pre-sold 66,500 tickets for the CenturyLink Field clash with Cascadia rivals Portland Timbers which puts the venue at capacity for a soccer match.
The attendance number will break their previous franchise record of 66,452 which was set against the Timbers in October last year.
However, the Sounders are still a little bit away from breaking the MLS record of 69,255 set by the LA Galaxy in their first match back in 1996 and the 68,331 CenturyLink record made by NFL side Seattle Seahawks in 2007.
