Seattle Sounders sell 55,000 tickets for final home game

The extraordinary support for MLS club Seattle Sounders continues to grow with news that they have already sold 55,000 tickets for their final home game of the regular season.

The Sounders keep breaking MLS attendance records and their October 15 match against San Jose Earthquakes at CentruryLink Field will be no exception.

The Quakes match is the third match of a three-game ticket package which was released earlier in the year including the glamour friendly with Manchester United and the June clash with Thierry Henry's New York Red Bulls.

The match will mark Sounders veteran Kasey Keller's final home game for the club and could have the club in with a chance of snatching the 2011 MLS Supporters' Shield from LA Galaxy as they sit seven points behind with a game in hand.
