Sports Illustrated suggests that the Seattle Sounders are looking to trade forward Eddie Johnson.
The USA international has made it clear that he is unhappy with his wage in Seattle and it is believed that the Sounders will not come to the party with an improved offer despite him being the leading scorer over the past two seasons.
Johnson, who earned $156,000 in 2013, is now being considered for a trade with the Sounders unlikely to fit him in their salary cap next year.
It is believed that an unnamed MLS team executive told SI.com that Seattle are shopping the former FC Dallas, Sporting Kansas City, Fulham and Cardiff City man around.
