Scotland Under-21s boss Scott Gemmill says that Elliot Anderson still has a chance to play for the nation.
The Under-21s coach has reiterated the Newcastle United midfielder is still not available for selection.
Anderson has been capped at youth level by England and Scotland, but is wanted by the Three Lions for senior football.
Gemmill and the Scots are still hoping that he picks them instead of England.
"Nothing changed with regards to Elliot. The door is still open for him," Gemmill told the Daily Record.
