Legendary Manchester United goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel is unimpressed with a summer signing.
The Red Devils brought in midfielder Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina on a loan with an option to buy.
Based on his display in the 3-0 loss to Manchester City, during which he was hauled off at half-time, Schmeichel would not spend big money on signing him permanently.
"I mean, he makes a change at half time, there's a reason for that because it wasn't working in midfield," Schmeichel told Premier League Productions.
"Amrabat was so far off the pace Man City basically could do whatever they wanted.
"And the chances, yes, we had chances but they all came from Manchester City mistakes, it wasn't like we were creating anything."
