Jeffrey Schlupp is keen to get Leicester City's pre-season campaign started.

Schlupp recently joined up with the Leicester squad following international duty with the Ghanaian national team.

Upon his return, the wing-back has stated that he is happy to have returned and is raring to get going as the Foxes begin their preparations for the 2015/16 Premier League season.

The 24-year-old, who won the club's Young Player of the Year and Players' Player of the Year awards last term, told the Leicester Mercury: "I had some extra football straight after (the end of the season) because I was away with Ghana, but I managed to get away after that and spend some time with the family, which is what you need after a long season.

"I feel like the batteries are recharged now and I'm ready to go for the new season."
