Schalke 04 sporting director Andre Hechelmann has revealed talks have opened with Liverpool defender Sepp van den Berg.
The Dutch defender spent this season on-loan with S04.
The German aim to bring Van den Berg back for the new season in a second loan arrangement.
Hechelmann told Voetbal International: “We are talking to him and his advisor.
“I see the [Instagram] post more as a thank you from Sepp."
