Sassuolo striker Domenico Berardi was delighted with his double in Italy's victory over Malta.

Berardi struck twice as Italy won their Euro qualifier 4-0.

He later said: "It's certainly nice to have scored the brace today, I'm happy. We played an excellent match, we were focused right from the start start. The coach prepared it in the best way, we were focusted and it showed. We have to prove again that we are the ones you saw today.

"We have to put what happened behind us, it's not up to us to judge.

"We have to do our job and then there will be those who will judge. England? It will be a great emotion, we won the European Championship there."
