Sassuolo coach Alessio Dionisi admits there's a lot of anger after Monday night's defeat to Juventus.

Juve won 2-1, with Sassuolo's players upset over Paulo Dybala's goal being allowed to stand after an apparent foul made by Alvaro Morata in the lead up.

“Let's say the lads were rather upset at half-time, but at the final whistle too. Over the course of the 90 minutes, if one team deserved to win, it was us, but the other team won instead," Dionisi told Sky Italia.

“However, we know the strength of Juventus, they keep going. We tried everything possible to score more goals, we didn't deserve to be on level terms at half-time and the second half was almost as good as the first until fatigue set in.

“Juve defended so deep and closed all the spaces, so we tried to pass it around them and didn't have as many shots on goal as usual, but that's credit to the Bianconeri for their defending."

He added, "The lads showed great quality and effort, Juve had the experience to control the game, yet we pinned them back into their own half for long periods.

“There are few Serie A sides who play with four strikers, so we are open to taking those risks because we have that quality. Perhaps we need to find more tactical balance and we don't always do that, we get a bit stretched out and vulnerable to the counter-attack."
