Sander Berge's agents were at Anfield on Tuesday night for Genk's Champions League defeat to Liverpool.
The Norway midfielder was linked with the Reds going into the game and shone on the night, impressing manager Jurgen Klopp in the process.
Berge's agents Mike Kjølø and Morten Wivestad were in the stands and it was claimed by Belgian TV during the night that the midfielder will leave Genk in January for an unnamed club with terms already settled.
After the 2-1 loss, Genk sports chief Dimitri De Conde was asked by VG if Berge had been sold.
"No," was his succinct reply.
