Sampdoria president Marco Lanna is eager to organise a tournament in honour of Gianluca Vialli.
Lanna, a former teammate of Vialli, is keen to put tohether a charity tournament with Juventus, Cremonese and Chelsea to honour the ex-striker.
Vialli passed away this morning in London, aged 58. He was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2017.
“I want to organise a friendly tournament with Chelsea, Cremonese, Sampdoria and Juventus and donate the proceeds to charity," Lanna told Sky Italia.
“Sampdoria have always been in his heart. He would often call me to know how things were going and the internal dynamics. He always had a solid bond with this club."
