Sampdoria president Massimo Ferrero insists no-one will be sold this month.

Samp are just three points off the top four.

“After the game, on the bus, I congratulated all the players," Ferrero told Il Secolo XIX.

“I told them I was proud of how they face the Bianconeri. The fans can be calm, I won't sell anyone. The base of the group is strong and united, it will remain.

“At the most we'll see if there's an opportunity to bring in someone promising, like in recent years."
