Liverpool's Mario Balotelli will not be moving to Sampdoria this summer according to the Italian club's boss Walter Zenga.
The enigmatic striker had a dismal first season at Anfield following his £16million move from AC Milan and has been linked to a host of clubs as a result.
One of these clubs was Sampdoria, who finished seventh in Serie A last season.
However Sampdoria manager Zenga has hosed down suggestions his club would move for Balotelli this summer.
Zenga told Italian radio station RAI Radio 2 that although Balotelli is a player of "extraordinary talent", his club will not sign him.
