Salomon Rondon admits he spies a new chance at Everton this season.
The sale of Richarlison has opened things up for the Venezuela international striker.
Rondon told AS: "It seems to me that I will have more options to play, it seems that I will have more opportunities.
"Obviously, it will be what the coach decides. But I feel like I'm doing things right, I've been training well and I'm in good shape. I had quite limited vacations because I kept up the demands and the level of training, because I try to be professional and do things well.
"Assistant role? Probably yes, although it is not my strength nor are they my best attributes because I am a nine in the area, it is the coach who decides and seeks the best for the team."
