Ryan demands hard work from Brighton teammates

Mathew Ryan wants to see Brighton work harder as they attempt to avoid relegation.

Despite a decent gap to 18th position, the Albion want to ensure they are not dragged into a relegation dogfight for the last couple games of the season.

And goalkeeper Ryan wants to ensure the players keep working hard in the remaining games to secure enough points to stay up. They are currently five points clear of Cardiff.

He told The Argus: "We are right in the thick of it now and you have got to just keep putting in the hard work.

"You don't get anywhere without hard work and nothing worth having comes easy.

"To secure our Premier League safety for next season, we are going to have to work as hard as possible to do what is needed.

"We need to learn from tonight to make us better."
