Roma president Pallotta: Totti could end up in New York

Roma president James Pallotta has confirmed they've offered Francesco Totti a director's post.

However, Totti is likely to turn it down as he wants to play on next season.

“The situation with Francesco is really hard," Pallotta told reporters, as reported by Roma News.

“I'd like him to become part of the management, but he'd prefer to continue playing. The captain said he was interested in going to play in Miami, but they don't [yet] have a team in MLS.

“He could be interested in moving to New York though."
