Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan: Juventus coaching staff swore at me

Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan played down a post-match ruck after defeat to Juventus.

At the final whistle, there was a disagreement between Kostas Manolas, Nainggolan and Juventus assistant manager Marco Landucci.

Nainggolan stated, “I wanted to shake (assistant manager) Landucci's hand, as I worked with him at Cagliari and I care about those who helped me in my career. He swore at me. I understand there is tension at the final whistle, but I was just trying to shake his hand. It was not reciprocated."

On Roma's title chances, Nainggolan continued: “Talking about the Scudetto was a mistake we made in the past. We must take it one game at a time.

“We have a game in hand against Sampdoria. Losing to Juventus in Turin is not a tragedy, we still have the return match at the Olimpico and can make up lost ground.

“We're doing good work and want to finish as high up the table as possible."
