Rodgers implores Origi to make most of Liverpool chances

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has called on striker Divock Origi to improve his finishing after the Belgian was unable to convert a handful of goal-scoring opportunities in the Reds' 1-1 Europa League draw with FC Sion.

Origi is yet to open his account for the Merseyside club, leading Rodgers to call on the 20-year-old to be more clinical in front of goal.

"Divock has come in and had limited chances," Rodgers said post match.

"These are the games he is getting that experience in. He knows the next step is about finishing. It was good to see his great quality and skill for the first goal and he had chances after that.

"He knows it is a part of his game he needs to improve. When you get the opportunities at this level you have got to take them."
