Bjorn Helge Riise admits a visit to Liverpool inspired him to make the move to Fulham.

Discussing his brother John's initial move to Anfield, Riise revealed: "When he joined Liverpool I went with him and was blown away by the facilities and the sheer professionalism of it all.

"It made me even more determined to go back home and work at my game so I'd get a chance like that. I wanted to be where John was.

"When Fulham came in for me, it felt like all that hard work paid off and now I just want to make the very most of the opportunity.

"I know John has gone on to play in Serie A with Roma, but English football will suit me fine and I want to be there for a long time."
