Liam Ridgewell has signed a new three-year contract with Birmingham City.

The 25-year-old will remain at St. Andrew's until 2013 after putting pen-to-paper on a fresh deal yesterday.

"I am pleased to sign on the dotted line and get it done," he revealed to bcfc.com.

"The ninth place finish came into play and I want to be at a successful club and this club is driving on."
