Loic Remy is leaving Chelsea today - as a free agent.

That's according to El Mundo Deportivo, which are reporting Remy has negotiated a release from his contract.

The France international is now on his way to Spain, where he will join Las Palmas on a free transfer.

Remy spent last season on-loan with Crystal Palace, where he endured an injury plagued campaign.

The Frenchman knew he wouldn't be registered by Chelsea this season if he had chosen to stay.
