Joao Felix is ready to quit Atletico Madrid in January.

That's according to Okdiario's chief pundit Eduardo Inda, when speaking on El Chiringuito.

He declared: "Joao Félix has been at Atlético since 2019 and has never been happy, never. Perhaps the first season, but he has always been second or third plate for (Diego) Simeone and there are times when he has not even counted.

"He has wanted to leave for two summers, just as I have said here. He wanted to leave last summer and the one before. He has only played 7 times as a starter out of 11 games, that's being a half starter.

"I think Simeone doesn't like him because Cholo's style is very similar to Javier Clemente's.

"127 million was spent on him. They impose him on Simeone and he wants physical players and Joao is very technical but not very physical. He will try to go after the World Cup."
