West Ham United vice-chairman Karren Brady blocked a deal for imminent Liverpool signing Rickie Lambert, it has been revealed.
Lambert, 32, is set to join Liverpool later today from Southampton.
The Mail on Sunday says the reason Lambert did not join West Ham in January is because Hammers executive Brady, felt he was "too old".
