Atlanta United midfielder Miguel Almiron wants to join Newcastle United.

El Intransigente says Newcastle have placed a bid of $28million for Almiron.

And it's claimed Almiron has decided on Newcastle, a team in which he will be able to play more often.

In addition, his coach, Rafa Benitez, would have requested the signing of the Atlanta player - which Almiron appreciates.
