Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is facing significant discontent from senior players within the club.

The Spanish coach is under severe pressure after his team lost another game, this time 1-0 at home to Burnley on Sunday.

And part of the issue centres around his response to a red card his winger Nicholas Pepe received against Leeds United two weeks ago.

Arteta stated in his post-game interviews after that match that Pepe had let down the team and behaved unacceptably.

According to football.london, some players were upset at seeing Pepe get such public criticism.
