Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers' sacking was inevitable this season.
That is the opinion of former Liverpool star Jamie Redknapp, who works as a pundit.
Redknapp, who also played for Tottenham, believes the Foxes should have done more to support Rodgers in the transfer market.
He stated on Sky Sports: “Inevitable is probably the right word, he hasn't had that spark this season, earlier in the year they had a run of bad results and he just felt he hadn't got the funds he would have liked."
He then added: “Something wasn't right there.
“I'm a big fan of Brendan, he's a top manager and no doubt he will be getting back into football very quickly, they have looked at it and the predicament they are in and it just shows you how crazy football is."
