Real Sociedad president Jokin Aperribay says a deal is close for Everton striker Sandro Ramirez.

Sandro is expected to sign for La Real before Friday in a permanent deal.

Aperribay said, "Sandro is pretty close.

"There is agreement with him and with Everton. Today they play a cup game and he can come tomorrow if all goes well.

"He will be on loan without an option to buy.

"It will be Sandro and nothing else, nor will any attackers come. In the last few days we have decided that there will be two, an attacker and a defender, and if Sandro does not finally come, we will stay as we are."
