Real Sociedad failed with a bid for Tottenham winger Bryan Gil last week.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano is reporting La Real made a serious attempt for the midfielder.

However, Gil rejected the approach.

Proposals from Brighton and Fenerbahce were also received and turned down.

As such, Gil will remain with Spurs to the end of the season.
