Real Sociedad coach Imanol Alguacil was delighted with their 3-0 thumping of PSV Eindhoven.

Mikel Oyarzabal (2) and Alexander Sorloth were the goalscorers for La Real as they finish in second place in their group.

Imanol said: "Almost everything went 100 per cent for us. The side worked so well, they stuck to the idea that we could win which was so important.

"I have to congratulate the boys for their hard work, and also for the fans, who helped us earn this great win. If I was proud of this team yesterday, I'm even more so today."

Oyarzabal also stated: "We're so pleased with winning and how we played. We had to sit back a bit, which we're not used to doing but our crowd were right behind us despite the rain."
