Real Madrid use Mourinho dossier to go for Chelsea keeper Courtois

Real Madrid are chasing Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois. The Sunday Mirror says when in charge at the Bernabeu, Jose Mourinho ordered Real to compile a dossier on Courtois, who was building a reputation as one of the world's best shot-stoppers after being loaned out by Chelsea to Atletico Madrid in 2011.

A source in Spain said: "As soon as Courtois arrived on loan at Atletico from Chelsea, a file was opened on him under instructions from Mourinho.

"The information built up is exhaustive and Courtois is on Madrid's list of targets, despite the presence of Iker Casillas and Diego Lopez in Carlo Ancelotti's squad."

Mourinho wants to keep him at the Blues and he still has two seasons left on the five-year deal he signed when he arrived from Gent. But, despite being a Chelsea player for almost three years, Courtois has still to make his debut for the London club after being loaned out to Atletico.
