Real Madrid are ready to compete with Barcelona for Real Betis midfielder Giovani Lo Celso.

Currently on-loan at Betis from PSG, Lo Celso was linked with Barca earlier this week.

And El Confidencial says Real Madrid are also interested in the midfielder.

Betis hold the option to buy the player for a fixed fee and have informed PSG they plan to do that. That fee is said to be €25m, minus the €3m loan fee, and the deal would be obligatory should Betis qualify for Europe again this season.

They would then be open to offers to sell Lo Celso on for a profit.
