Manchester City are eyeing Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema.
The Daily Star says City boss is keen on Benzema as an alternative to No1 attacking target Fernando Torres, the Liverpool striker.
Real Madrid have already moved to head off any possible interest in Benzema - who has been tracked by Manchester United for the last three years - despite clashing with boss Jose Mourinho.
