Real Madrid are making a shock late move for Flamengo whiz Lucas Paqueta.

AC Milan and Fla have agreed terms over a €35m deal for Paqueta, who was expected to sign for Milan once he undergoes a medical later this month.

However, Marca says Real are making a late push to trump Milan to the youngster's signing.

Key to the move are Real pair Marcelo and Vinicius Junior, who are both close to Paqueta and have been urging him to join them in Madrid this January.

For the moment, everything is in flux, with nothing signed between Fla and Milan.
