Real Madrid midfielder Xabi Alonso has been impressed by Manchester United dynamo Shinji Kagawa.

The Japan international scored a hat-trick against Norwich City on the weekend and played in the first-leg of the last-16 Champions League tie.

"He has adapted well to English football. He plays well between the lines, but United has a number of players that can cause us problems," said Xabi.
