Real Madrid midfielder Isco insists his touchline snub for Chendo was all a joke.

Isco drew ire when ignoring the Real official at the end of their win over Alaves.

"No doubt he is a great person," Isco wrote on Twitter, alongside a picture of the pair smiling together.

"It's a joke of ours that in a three-second video you will not understand.

"Hugs, gentleman."
